Interests
There interests probably involve toys and model making the pop culture from the 70s to 90s due to the fact that my pictures will be based of film series from those decades and to recognise and find and interest in them you have to know the films meaning you would have an interest in the topic. There interests wold also be in photography to appreciate what I am trying to do and how I did it.
Activitys
The activities the partake In are more than likely football on the weekends travelling and playing games that the films are related to or based off which is something hey may do daily like me or weekly depending not here free time or ability or there passion in the product.Or they could be an aspiring / part / full time photographer
Attitude
I don't not understand this type of person through there bells due to everyone being different and it is very opinion based meaning I cannot create a ruff idea
Behaviour
This person is very organised and they care about what is around them and they pay a lot of attention to detail and plan out for every eventuality and they like to be controlling and make each detail perfecta and just the way they want it and if the can not they try to create a way around it to get what ever it is they way they want it.

Such as this creates this really cool effect of action and raining fire through the use of steel wool which you. unravel and thin out and then you could set it on fire and let it spring of and create these cool streaks that I believe are creating action with very few after effects
In this shot he uses these settings and equipment to make this shot these effects manage to give it a nice feeling and setting such as he uses a very low depth of field to enhance the image and keeper you focused on the character from and centre and the amazing effects. As well as he uses a lower frame rate because it docent flash or fly around a lot even thought it is a bright effect it is not needed.
the shot types I will use are mid shots / close ups because I want to capture detail but on a rare occasion I would use long shots as establishing shots and to show of a nice area that I shoot at such as these types of shots

Research into my inspirations
1 Caution Bricks - There work
Bio - all it simply states is that "20 year old photographer that has been taking pictures of Lego since i was 9 years old"
My favourite shots
2 Rouge Brick Studios
Bio - Again this is very simple as straight to the point "22yr old Lego Star Wars fan and amateur photographer(american flag)"
My favourite shots
3 Lego Star Wars Photo (Benjamin Croix) - There work
Bio - Once again very simple and he states the is a 22 yr old Lego photographer from France (Lyon) and that he is a star wars fan and a law student.
My favourite shots
All three of these have a very different style whilst all showing the same product such as my number 1 like to show a variety of themes of Lego in his shot varying form star wars to second world war / Vietnam war pictures as well as his own unique custom post apocalyptic figures as well as figure like tomb raider and other anime based protagonists. In THIS video he shows how he customises his pictures and how he would use them in shoots that he does.Whilst my other inspirations 2 and 3 use only star wars based figures and sets. As well as shot and techniques wise the are not as varied 1 and 2 typically go for close up shots so you get the detail and it build the environment and 3 with some occasions 1 as well go for open long shots due to the fact that his pictures take place during large scale events or battle and he wants to showcase that he wants his picture to feel chaotic and busy like a battle scene should the only time he goes for mids or close ups is to show the aftermath as well as to show emotion on a characters face typically showing anger. As well as 1 and 3 normally use real life environments that they have created to suit the scene they envision

Shot inspiration
The shots currently that I would like to create at the moment (as of the 2nd of March 2020) are a cave scene featuring Indian jones and a shot of some kashyyyk troopers in a night swamp raid as well as a steel wool shot (yet to decide what to put in it) and I would like to have some shots of 212th airborne assault troopers on a landscape which is yet ti be determined and potentially a crash site scene in a rocky area maybe a canyon. Of course these are all subject to change
Cave shot (Indiana jones)
The inspiration for this shot was from two things the opening of Raiders of the lost ark (Spielberg, 1981) where the main character Indiana Jones played by Harrison ford where he is exploring a cave covered in traps and skeletons hunting for and idol from a past civilisation and the other was a shot I saw form my main inspiration (caution bricks) when he created a tomb raider shot where he has his custom tomb raider mini figure exploring an abandoned gave looking for artefacts whilst having a really cool torch effect which featured using a desk lamp and shining in from above creating an orange glow looking like it came from the torch. which is something I would like to create the scene from Raiders of the lost ark with elements of the tomb raider shot such as the torch effect.
Night swamp
The inspiration for my this shot comes from an original shot that i saw when scrolling through my inspirations page and i saw this shot which i really liked and i thought i could build off the shot entailed 2 41st elite corps marines in a deep swamp exploring the terrain or doing recon for an upcoming mission the figures in this are also covered in a sack material which i liked because it gave me some nice indications of what i am meant to look at and feel. As well as one of my main inspirations is from the directors edition of Apocalypse now (Ford Coppola, 1979) dvd cover and poster where you see a character submerged in a dirty river.

Steel wool
Once again this is a shot inspired from one of my inspiration that i plan on recreating with my own technique and style and from doing some research and getting inspired into this subject and effect i believe that i could improve on this and make it better and create a nice scene. I also plan on creating a set of this which i intend on making it look like the interior of a Republic, Separatist, Rebel alliance or Imperial flag ship. Depending on which i choose will determine the figures i use in these shots.
212th Airborne
Once again this shot was inspired from one of my inspirations which entails some 212th airborne assault troopers from Star Wars Episode 3 Revenge of the sith (Lucas, 2005) exploring an new planet or some new terrain or they could be looking for something which i might relate to my next shot inspiration and make a running story or theme from the star wars shots and link them to have an ongoing idea and story line.
Crash site
This is a shot inspired by my main inspiration which entails an escape pod crash landing on a rocky barren waste land the escape pod was containing an elite trooper who is holding information wanted by the separatists and he must defended which in my head sounds like a good idea but i have to put it in to practice before i know weather it works as well as i could relate this shot to the prior and have those men rescue and try to find him and help him get back home. This shot i will create a rocky surrounding filled with dirt and rocks like a barren waste land with a crashed escape mod which might be on fire if i could figure that out and have him prepare his defences and wait for extraction.
Another one of my inspirations is the original concept art work from Ralph Mcquarrie who was responsible for "His career included work on the original Star Wars trilogy, the original Battlestar Galactica television series, the film E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, and the film Cocoon, for which he won an Academy Award"
Examples of his work

And many many more but as they are for other shows and non related topics then I am deeming them unrelated to this

The process of making these shots
There is a long process to make these shots look as good as they do to get effects like these or to get shots that are going to change the way that someone looks at your work and the way that they create them is buy creating sets this way you have complete creative freedom over what you shot looks like and you can chose and create a very creative or different landscape to feature your shot as well as if you are creating sets you are also more than likely creating a controlled environment for effects such as if you wanted to do steel wool photography like in here or in here then you would need to have an area that is safe to do so, so they create a scene using pieces that look relevant or work with the scene but also are not going to be destroyed by the steel wool when ignited .To create a set you will need a tray or old bin lid or cooking tray to lay your piece out on the piece you will be using are most likely bits of clumped mud moss or large rocks to create a scene or if you wanted a snow or desert scene then you would create one using what ever materials that would make the scene look authentic or accurate to what you are trying to create and the landscape that you are building. For example the scenes that I want to create are all based in swamps jungles or caves so to create mine I am going to use mud moss and water to create the effects that I want and the senary I want or I may use rocks and stones to create a landscape for a crash site which was an idea that I was contemplating in my head which is antlers variety landscape that I believe would look good and fit in well with the ideas and themes I am going with.
These are some shots form my main inspiration of how he makes him shots as well as a description by him and the equipment used in this shot.
Set up 2
"So basically a lid from a bin repurposed as a tray to hold a bunch of dirt and crap. I like how its a tray so I can easily move it for different lighting and backgrounds. This setup has been where I’ve taken most of my shots lately, whether it be all dusty in this or filled with water and plants in this. On the top left you can see the bricks I painted and that I use as backgrounds in some of my pics such as this, this, or this, etc and you can see that chicken wire that I just use as a fence in the background sometimes. Also I got a bendy barbecue lighter for being able to put the fire in a weird spot while still looking through the camera. Of course I gotta throw in a crashed star destroyer for a cool background and there you go. The camera is a Canon Rebel SL1 and I just used the kit lens because after years of using dslr's and different lenses, i tried using the standard 18-55 i always forget about and I realized it works the best for lego photography because of how close you can get to the figures and being able to change the look with the zoom by having the field of view change by being able to change the focal length. A lot of my shots are variations of this setup." (links in the text are to examples that show what he means and to give context)
The equipment used in this shot
One of the shots I would like to do is a steel wool shot creating what looks like raining fire and explosive action in my shots and it give a really nice random movement which if I shot at a lower shutter speed could create some nice motion blur but that is something that I would have to experiment with the effect that I am trying to get looks something like this so that you have the action explosion effect in motion and some nice bright colour which are very eye catching and believe it or not but the effect is very simple to create and recreate the only problem is to create something that looks like that and have an appropriate background that won't be destroyed by the steel wool which at its core is still very hot steel.
To create steel wool photography all you need is steel wool and a lighter off some sort which are both very cheap and is available in most hardware / decorating shops such as BNQ. But to get the effect you have to have the steel wool and something to light it up, so you could use a lighter or a 9 watt battery then if you spin or shake the wool it moves with the air and it set up setting up sparks and creates amazing visuals like this the main thing to consider is the safety proportions because you are dealing with fire and dangerous materials that are flammable so I would wear full protective gear for the parts that are at danger so goggles and gloves

How I learnt to to work steel wool photography and get the effect that I want although his is not with toys photography and rather larger scale but the physics and technique still apply just on a smaller scale but now that I have learnt this I plan on testing this out on the week commencing the 2nd of March 2020
Another thing that I would like to do to give my shots more depth and realism is I would like to create my own camouflage and poncho head gear and rifle camp for lego min figures by doing this I am using real world materials such as sand bag or potato sack material so it give my shots some more realism and the have a nice deep texture and by using this I would like to create a nice high depth of field focus shot where I would have some 41st elite corps troopers in there Kashyyyk attire meaning that they look like this and in Lego look like this and I would cover then in this material and them submerge them in a swamp area that could look good if I shot It properly and made the shot darker in after affects making it gritty and more realistic especially with the custom cloth if ic an get the material that I desire na make it work properly and loo good but I am confident that it will work if I get what I need to achieve it.
These mood boards are all inspired from the art work of Ralph McQuarrie who was responsible for the art behind the original star wars trilogy and Battlestar Galactica and ET. I believe that he is a very talented artist and he has created some of the most original and creative artistic visionaries out there and he has a unique stye which is a sharp and thin and it looks a lot better when it is in motion but in still which lends it self to the art of photography but it inspired the best film franchise ever made and helped a lot nower day well known pieces of pop culture take off and create a unique feeling such as E.T and Battlestar Galactica.

These videos are all to help me understand how to create the things i want such as the setting scenes and sets as well as the characters and there aesthetics and cool camera lighting and scene building techniques that I will try to apply and use in my FMP to get the desired aesthetics on some shots such as for desert shot I would look for the top video and If I was building a snow world like hoth then I would use a different video but the point was to gather the video that I found aspiring and useful to help me create the shot that I want.
--------------------------------------------------------------–––––-----------------------------------------------------
Self Development
After doing some research featured above and watching these videos they have helped me understand techniques and using the environment and special effects to make a scene feel like a different way or using house hold items to improve my photography and how I digital editing is used to create some shots and effects which I will use to improve my photography and the after effects.
My research has helped me develop my skills and enhance them in what I want to do such as I have improved on there idea of how to create some of the scenes that I want to use and from that has spawned a series of ideas meaning that my idea is developing and improving as well as from this development it helps me expand my knowledge because to learn something new or do something new I have to research it and learn it. In this case it was how to make my environments pop and look realistic for what they are such as how to use snow effects and make snow as well as smoke and hot to create large quantities which is easier now that I know what I am doing and it was important I learnt this because it was vital for a shot I planned on which entailed a scene of Darth Vader in the wake of a battlefield with smoke poring In from each side with his light sabre ignited so you could barley see the bodies with an orange filter over the top making it seem a dark and cool shot which was a good idea in my head and now that I have done that I can happily create that shot hopefully which would be nice to add to my collection and use a cool effect all precocial bar a filter but that is my idea to create a series of shots with only practical effects rather than digital because in my opinion that is more skill than doing it digitally.

I will also use certain other ways to get creative shots such as I will use gun powder to create some action shots I will use them to create explosions in the background of shots. The way I will get these is to buy some fireworks and remove the gunpowder the wick and the fuse of I can light it and get back to my camera in time for the shot to make sure it is focused and framed correctly as well as to ensure that my settings are correct such as the shutter speed I need to make sure that they are high enough and to ensue my aperture is bright enough and so that my depth of field is correct.
Another way I will create my shots is by using some old potato sack material to create camouflage and a really cool effect that could allow yo to give some realism and depth to your photograph but I think that I helps me give some depth and some extra detail to my photograph

These are some shots form my main inspiration of how he makes him shots as well as a description by him and the equipment used in this shot.
Set up 1
"This is my setup for my Tomb Raider inspired picture as seen here."
"For this shot I used my Canon Rebel SL1 set up on a tripod using my 40mm f/2.8 pancake lens, (btw this camera/lens combo is great for an everyday camera because it's small but it's still a proper dslr and it even has video too) and I used my handy-dandy remote shutter so its easier to focus on not setting my custom mining on fire instead of the shutter button. My setup for this specific shot involved a bunch of random dirt clumps that had moss on them that I might’ve took from my neighbor’s yard, and I used some random leaves because i couldn’t find enough dirt clumps but i still needed to make the end of the cave darker so it was easy to use leaves as coverage. I put all the crap that I used for the shot on a flipped over plastic bin lid because it is waterproof and easy to transport the whole setup somewhere else when needed. The waterproofiness of that bin lid comes in handy because my original idea was to have a flooded cave (as they usually are in Tomb Raider) so I just filled that thing up with water. I ended up using using a longer barbecue lighter rather than the one in the picture because it was easier to direct the flame without burning my thumb. The final shot for this pic is pretty much straight out of camera, albeit a bit of colour balancing."
The equipment used and the settings of the equipment used

These videos are all to help me understand how to create the things i want such as the setting scenes and sets as well as the characters and there aesthetics and cool camera lighting and scene building techniques that I will try to apply and use in my FMP to get the desired aesthetics on some shots such as for desert shot I would look for the top video and If I was building a snow world like hoth then I would use a different video but the point was to gather the video that I found aspiring and useful to help me create the shot that I want.
