Ideas - UAL proposal
criteria requires you to do some test shoots
12x shots story board - using stills to plan out the the fmp so that you know wth location and what the place you will be shooting is like
DSLR = digital single lense reflex
What to test -
Dslr
- aperture (known as the three pillars or the exposure triangle) cornea = lens and iris = hole aperture will be large or small the smaller the more light like f stop (e.g. f22) use f8 for outside so you don't miss the moment at f22 the shot will look in focus higher the f stop the more that is in focus at f1.4 the foreground or background will be in focus and it will be faster
- depth of field at a lower f stop is shallow. the minimum f stop is important
- iso
- rule of thirds
- focal length (measured in meters)
- shutter speed
lenses-
fixed prime lense - one focal length
zoom lense - zoomed out aperture is one number zoomed in will increase the f stop number and close the aperture meaning you will have a deeper depth of field
pro lense has a fixed aperture 70 - 200 mm at f 2.8
I.S.O refers to photography
the sensitivity of the film roll
the light you let in will hit the camera ad the camera recoders that so you change the iso on the dslr but it is unlucky and the better ones are 100 asa but the 200 asa and 400 asa is not as good
quick moving images will need a higher asa such as 400 asa for sport
Shutter speed (blinking)
a high shutter speed lets in less light because the lense is mostly shut
1/4 means a quarter of a second
1/250
dslr can go to 1/4000 in a second mainly shortest
the longest you will go is one every 30 seconds

Camera
ccd x3 = pro (rgb)
we see green as much as red and blue combined so when creating a sensor for a dslr you would have to create a counter measure for this
Sensor in a dslr
Captures black and white (photolithography (lith) )
In the silicon layer there are wells which determine whether the pixel is black or white and the other layers are above it which combines them and layers them to create the image
There are different types of sensor
The ccd, cmos and foveon x 3
The point of this means that when the light comes in it goes through the rainbow or colour spectrum to determine what the colour is .
White balance = awb
Interior and exterior
kelvin (explore) low light such as candle and a blue sky is a much higher kelvin they are reversed
hue - how does the colour relate to research
Black balance new camera calibration (probably won't use)
Gain - low light conditions (avoid using this but it is there)

remember the switch down the side meaning how our are able to record and format
typical sizes are 32gb
imagine everything that you could have plan it out as if you could have what you wanted
if not plan our idea for our second plan
research into qualities and capability and file type look into phone edit or laptop software
solve problems look into things that i planed on doing and use them
showing you can use what ever is needed or available and that you can solve problems
what i expect to learn and the purpose behind it
1 to 1 add dstes to time plan

As college is closed to students from today. And the campuses close Friday 20th to staff...
ReplyDeleteI will be communicating on this page with you. I will be available to start our FMP clinic (questions and answers) and the usual weekly sessions will happen at the same time as the current timetable.
I will post the sessions in this page as to what to work on next. Needless to say... research!
Also... show your intro page.
